European Night Without Accident 2003

In 2003, with the support of the European Commission, the Night Without Accident became the European Night Without Accident. We extended our action to 3 other European countries so that we could be active in 4 countries (France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium).

During the night, young volunteers of Responsible Young Drivers and project partners like “La Route des Jeunes” (France) were present all night long in about 80 nightclubs in 4 participating countries in order to inform and sensitize youngsters who are going out this night.

This action coordinated on a European level gave even more credibility to local associations. This action was a first step in the creation of a European network and has the ambition to go on further in order to sensitize more youngsters and to involve more countries every year in this huge action.
